Breaking News!!! - - Killers of Benazir Bhutto Are Arrested: Rehman Malik
ISLAMABAD – Breaking News: The killers of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto are arrested, Interior Minister Rehman Malik told media today.
He further told that it is now cleared the how they killed Bhutto and how they managed to escape from the Liaqat Bagh, Rawalpindi after completing their plans.
Investigation report will be made public very soon, he added.
Former PM Benazir Bhutto, wife of current president Asif Ali Zardari, was assassinated Dec 27, 2007 after addressing an election rally in the northern Pakistani city of Rawalpindi. A teenaged shooter was seen aiming for her head in the CCTV footage before a powerful suicide blast killed at least 24 people participating in the rally.
The interior ministry at that time had accused the Taliban of plotting to kill Bhutto while the doctors had said that "her head banged against the lever of the sunroof which caused her death".
