Jackie Chan died online today as the actor met his untimely demise via death rumour. Chan, the Shanghai Noon and Rush Hour star becomes the latest victim of nasty Twitter death hoax.
Despite still trending on Twitter as “RIP Jackie Chan,” the action star is NOT dead, his reps confirm.
Jackie Chan is as healthy and is active arranging a charity programme for Japan.
Previously we’ve seen the false demise of everyone from from Tracey Morgan (I would be devastated) to Bill Cosby (Cosby was, in fact, pretty darn pissed about the situation. I mean, he is in his mid 70’s, so people tend to believe that type of biz!)
Chan is as healthy as an ox, and is even busy preparing a charity initiative for Japan. So no worries “Rush Hour” fans (all 5 of you). Jackie Chan for will live on to create more drunken scenes like that time he demanded to sing a duet onstage at a Jonathan Lee concert. That was special.
