Long-march against 5-day gas closure postponed after CM meeting

FAISALABAD – After a meeting with Chief Minister Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif, Faisalabad-based industrialists and mill owners have decided to defer the long-march which was originally called for 5th March against five-day gas closure for industrial units. 



A 25-member group of industrialists and representatives of organizations operating for benefit of workers of textile and other industries of Faisalabad visited Shahbaz Sharif at CM Secretariat on Friday.

Shahbaz Sharif pledged the delegation, during the meeting that Punjab provincial government led by Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) would leave no stone unturned to resolve their issues.

“I was personally keen to resolve the problems faced by industrialist and workers as soon as possible” the Chief Minister assured the delegation.

Earlier, industrialists and workers of Faisalabad had announced to hold province wide long-march on March 5(Saturday) against 5-day gas closure and for other problems faced by industrial units.
