TOKYO – As reported earlier here; a huge explosion was heard in the Fukushima nuclear power plant (No. 1). Now initial reports suggest that four people are injured as a result of blast.
Japanese state TV has showed pictures of an evident explosion at the Fukushima nuclear power plant. Radiation levels there are said to have increased rapidly. The plant has been facing a meltdown after the 8.9 magnitude earthquake hit the country on Friday. Russia TV's Ivor Bennet reports from Tokyo in the video below:
