CAIRO - Egyptian President RESIGNED, at last. At last the Egyptian people got something to smile as Honsi Mubarak resigned. Vice President read out a brief statement. Reported by Arab TV.
“Egypt got freedom”, people screaming with ecstasy . Egyptian people are celebrating the resign of Hosni Mubarak. People waved Egyptian flags in Tahrir Square in Cairo and Alexandria, Arab TV reported.
According to Arab TV; Vice President told that Government has been transferred to Army. The head of Supreme Council of Military took over, Arab TV further reported.
European Union welcomed the decision by Mubarak saying “Mubarak has listened people of Egypt and opened the doors for reforms”.
Accoding to an American TV channel; President Obama will issue the statement after sometime on the issue of Mubarak Resignation.
American stock exchange reacted positively with the news of resignation of Hosni Mubarak.
