Breaking News: Teenage Suicide Bomber Killed 20 Army Officials in Mardan

MARDAN, Pakistan: According to a press release on Thursday by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPA); a teenage suicide bomber killed 20 army troops at a parade ground, and left 20 others injured.

"The security officials in the Regimental Centre were carrying out their routine parade at the time of suicide attack. The injured were immediately rushed to the CMH for medical treatment”, officials said.  

The ISPR officials further told that the teenager bomber, dressed in school uniform, gained access to the parade inside a heavily protected area in the town of Mardan and blew himself up killing the soldiers with shrapnel and explosives. Reportedly, a school is also located in nearby are where the incident took place.

The incident reminds the suicide attack at a UN food distribution point on Christmas Day 2010 in the tribal district of Bajaur. In that suicide attack terrorists used a woman in covered with burqa (full-body veil) that claimed 43 precious lives. 

The recent attack is the deadliest one after that 2010 attack in Bajaur.
