TRIPOLI, May 1 – Reportedly, a son and three grandchildren of defiant Libyan leader Col. Muammar Gaddafi were killed in a NATO airstrike; but Col. Gaddafi survived in this deadly attack.

As per Libyan Government spokesperson Moussa Ibrahim; Mr Gaddafi and his wife were there at their son’s home at the time of attack but were lucky enough to survive in this NATO strike, which is called a direct attempt to assassinate the Libyan leader.
Mousa Ibrahim also confirmed the death of Gaddafi’s 29-year-old son, Saif al-Arab Gaddafi, and the grandchildren. Saif al-Arab Gaddafi was a student, he further told.
Later on, reporters and media were taken to the place of NATO strike where they saw extensive damage.
