Philippines Air Force Chopper Forced for Emergency Landing Injured Five in Rizal Area

MANILA, Philippines – Reportedly, five members of Philippines Air Force were injured early in the morning today (Wednesday/April13, 2011) as a result of emergency landing of a chopper.

This 5-member Air Force team was travelling for an official mission when an unknown fault forced the pilot, Lieutenant Colonel Robert Bitas, and his co-pilot to go for an emergency landing in the area of Daan Putol, Barangay (village) San Isidro, Taytay town in Rizal.

In the initial report police stated minor injuries to all of five members and a slight damage to chopper. 

Investigations are underway to find out the exact cause of the accident.
