NATO F-16 Crashed in Italy During Landing
SIGONELLA, Italy - - Reportedly, a NATO fighter aircraft was off-tracked when it was trying to land on the airbase of Sigonella.

As per further details; an F-16 of United Arab Emirates, which is under the control of NATO currently, was landing when it gone out of control shortly after touching the ground. The aircraft is being used by NATO in Libyan military operations. 

According to initial reports the pilot of the F-16 managed to eject before the crash, and then landed safely far from the accident. No one was hurt in the accident, but the airport was closed for short span of time and traffic was redirected at the airport of Trapani-Birgi.

The cause of the plane crash is under investigation.
