CIA Agents in Pakistan Going Back to U.S. After Abandoned Operations: Military Sources

ISLAMABAD - - Reportedly, CIA functioning in Pakistan has been abandoned and CIA agents are going back to United States.

A private TV channel quoting military sources reported that all the CIA operations against al-Qaeda and Taliban has been discontinued and more than 500 CIA agents involved in these operations are steadily returning to America.

The CIA director, Leon Panetta, has already been informed by Pakistan that no CIA operations will be tolerated in Pakistan. Only the information can be exchanged but Pakistani agencies will take action against terrorist and al-Qaeda members.

The sources further told that it is the reaction of recent drone attacks as U.S. has promised to stop the drone attacks in case of Raymond Davis’ case settlement according to their wishes; but America didn’t fulfil the promise even after release of CIA contractor Raymond Davis who shot dead two Pakistanis early this year.
