Three People Killed in a Private Plane Crash in Serbia: Civil Aviation Authorities

BELGRADE, Serbia - - According to Serbia's civil aviation authorities; three people were killed, including pilot and two passengers, in a private plane crash on Sunday in Mrcajevci, a village about 200 kilometres (120 miles) south of Belgrade.

Reportedly, a small private plane, single-engine Cessna 172, went down in an inhabited area of the village. But thankfully no one injured with the impact on the ground. The plane entangled with the power cables before it smack down on the ground.    

Eyewitnesses told B92 TV that the engine of the plane was supposedly failed before the crash as they didn’t hear any noise of the engine before the plane hit the ground.

State news agency Tanjug reports that an investigation team was sent to the site from Belgrade.
