After Devastating Ingham Cyclone Yasi Heading Towards North-west Queensland

Ingham - A flood situation has already been arise at north of Townsville in north Queensland, Ingham, where Cyclone Yasi’s winds have almost finished but heavy rain caused the flood with the water already through parks, picnic areas and some front yards.



Category five monster, Cyclone Yasi, passed the north Queensland coast around Mission Beach, south of Cairns, about midnight (Local Time). The Cyclone is now heading towards north-west Queensland; but thankfully converted into a mild category two system.

The post Yasi situation in Ingham is destructive with massive trees have been uprooted and the roads are littered with debris, parts of shop fronts have been torn off and some sheds and fences have blown away, road signs have been packed down and cane crops around the city have been severely affected.
