Protestors Blocked Military Tanks From Entering at Tahrir Square

Cairo, Egypt – According to CNN reports, two Egyptian military tanks were prevented from crossing through the barriers, creating a human chain by pro-democracy protestors. Reportedly, these tank were trying to invade the anti-Mubarak enclave at Tahrir Square in the centre of Cairo.


An eyewitness said brawl broke out after an army General asked activists to take down their makeshift barricades of corrugated steel and debris, which were built up during 48 hours of bloody fighting with regime supporters next to Cairo's landmark Egyptian Museum.
