CNN's Anderson Cooper Leaving Egypt


CAIRO, EGYPT -  Anderson Cooper, CNN news anchor, has set to leave Egypt, where he was doing his official duties on the political crisis.

Cooper has chosen to leave Egypt just after few days he was attacked, reported here, by an annoyed crowd. He was punched in the head ten times by supporters of the country's president while reporting on the domestic crisis there.

The well-known journalist didn’t stop to file reports even after he was assaulted.

But today he wrote on Twitter: 'It is with a heavy heart that I have decided to leave Egypt.
