Rebels Retaken Key Oil Town of Brega - - NATO to Assume Airstikes Control From U.S. Today

BREGA, Libya – Reportedly, the control of key oil town of Brega was retaken by the rebels on Monday (April 4).

The city of Brega on the eastern cost of Libya has been continuously under heavy battles between rebels and pro-Gaddafi forces since the conflict was intensified back in last month.

The rebel forces are now regrouped as better-trained and much more skilled soldiers after been aided by coalition forces airstrikes on Gaddafi loyal forces. The rebel forces come up with improved war-tactics and training as their truck-mounted rocket launchers would fire their missiles, move and then fire again to avoid government counter attacks. Artillery of government has already shredded with the coalition airstrikes, letting rebel forces to advance with least of the resistance.

U.S.-led airstrikes are expected to be pulled off later on Monday as NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) is set to take over the control.

NATO sources told that Britain, France and other NATO allies will now provide the fighter and attack jets to conduct seize and ground attack missions as they impose the no-fly zone over Libya as per U.N. resolution.
